You may not know him by name, but you’ve most likely watched several of Joe Pasci’s movies before. He’s best known for his role in Home Alone (1990) and Home Alone 2 (1992), where he played Harry—one of the two bumbling antagonists who broke into Kevin McCallister’s home. Pesci also appeared in Goodfellas (1990) and Casino (1995) alongside Robert De Niro.
Joe Pesci is noticeably shorter than many of his co-stars. In-Home Alone and Home Alone 2, Daniel Stern, who played Harry’s partner-in-crime Marv, practically towered over him. So, how tall is Joe Pesci? This article talks about Joe Pesci’s height, as well as his early life and career.
How Tall Is Joe Pesci?
According to IMDb, Italian-American actor Joe Pesci is 5’3” tall (1.63 m)—just slightly taller than Kevin Hart at a little over 5’2”. No wonder Harry—Joe Pesci’s character in Home Alone (1990)—looked tiny standing next to his partner Marv (Daniel Stern); Marv was an entire full foot taller at 6’3″ (1.93 m)!

Joe Pesci is known for his tough-guy persona, which stands out even more given his shorter stature. His ability to intimidate people twice his size makes any scene immediately memorable.
Joe Pesci’s Italian gangster character truly came alive in Casino (1995), where he delivered an unforgettable performance as Nicky Santoro. He exuded menace and authority, making him a force to be reckoned with. I highly recommend watching it if you’re into organized crime movies!
